Online Registration is open for more students
This year we’ve extended Online Registration to a wider group of students. Now more people than ever can experience the ease and convenience of Online Registration in 2010.
Online Registration has been extended to the following groups:
• Doctor of Philosophy – PhD (second year of PhD study or above)
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery – BDS (third year and above)
• Bachelor of Dental Technology – BDentTech (second year and above)
• Bachelor of Health Sciences – BHealSc (second year and above)
• Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science – BMLSc (third year and above)
• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery – MB ChB (third year and above)
• Bachelor of Oral Health – BOH (second year and above)
• Bachelor of Pharmacy – BPharm (third year and above)
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy – BPhty (third year and above)
Postgraduate Information Evenings – Dunedin – 9 & 10 September
Find the future you’ve been looking for at the University of Otago Postgraduate Information Evenings on September 9th at the Staff Club (Humanities/Business) and Sept 10th at the Hutton Theatre (Health Sciences/Sciences).
The postgraduate evenings provide an opportunity for potential postgraduate students to find out what they need to know about Otago’s postgraduate community and support, scholarships and programmes on offer in Dunedin, as well as postgraduate opportunities at Otago’s Christchurch and Wellington campuses, and by Distance Education.
Graduation - December 2009
An application form for the December 2009 graduation ceremonies will be sent in mid-September to all students who are registered as finalists. This will be sent to your semester address, so please make sure this is correct on PIMS by 1 September.

Student Exchange Programme
Otago's Exchange Programme lets you study at an internationally recognised partner university, receive credit towards your Otago degree and only pay domestic tuition fees. So, if you have ever thought of living and studying overseas, this is your chance!
ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENTS – SEMESTER TWO EXAMS
Do you require alternative arrangements in your final exams? Have you returned your application form?
If, because of a disability/impairment, you have difficulty sitting examinations under conventional circumstances, please contact Disability Information and Support to make alternative arrangements, email: disabilities@otago.ac.nz or telephone +64 3 479 8235. The final deadline for applications for Semester Two Alternative Arrangements is 1st September and late applications will not be accepted.

Rubbish Skip Collection – FRIDAY 28 AUGUST
Get rid of all that stuff you can’t put out in your black sacks or recycling bin; take advantage of the next skip rubbish collection will be on Friday 28 August from 9am to 4pm.
If skips located closest to your flat are full, please consider taking your rubbish to neighbouring location. Thanks for your co-operation.
